Of all the Baby-G Watches this is the only one I have even considered buying and wearing for myself (the others I have bought for my pre-teen daughter). Anyone who is familiar with Casio G-Shock watches will know all about their great features (timer, stopwatch, alarms, perpetual calendar, water and shock resistance). And anyone who knows anything about Baby-G's will know they are meant for women and for the fashion conscious.
Now, Casio has put together a watch that is meant to look like a "Ceramic" Watch without your having to pay for the Ceramic price! I bought this at Macy's before it was available on Amazon and was shocked when I first saw it because it so closely resembled some Technomarine brand watches which cost 3x to 7x more than this Baby-G.
This Baby-G, unlike the others, has stainless steel and is not ALL plastic and must be sized to fit your wrist. It also has a deployment clasp so it is extra classy, just like those expensive watches. The orange hourly markers add a nice, almost golden touch to the watch and will match all your Summer and Spring outfits! Again, the features are just like your typical Casio which makes it that much better than your typical fashion watch! Large enough without being monstrous. So good looking that my friends who did have real ceramic watches went out and bought this good-looking Baby as their "beater" watch. Now, I am going to have to hunt for the black version Baby-G of this same model... I hope Amazon puts it on sale soon!

I bought this watch about a year ago, so I've lived with it a while. I'm really hard on everything I own, so off the bat, please know it's a proven hard-to-kill item. Also, when I am inspired to go take care of something, I rarely remember to change into work clothes- whatever I'm in must be work clothes now, cuz I'm working in them. Thus, the fact that part of the white band has discolored is more than likely my doing, and care-taking people likely won't run into that concern- Not that it's actually my concern either since bluntly I couldn't care less, but it may be yours.
Now that I'm thinking about this, I may experiment with whitening toothpaste to clean it, since that has to be gentle enough not to disturb tooth enamel & therefore isn't likely to scratch the plastic band or enamel bezel. (Several ladies have commented that they like my watch, which is a nice little moment, especially since I've ruined my nice clothes- no one's complimenting those!)
It keeps excellent time, & has a million settings (multiple alarms, stopwatch, timer, a little illuminator for the face), some of which I've put into action. A great manufacturer's feature is being able to find the manual online & download it for later, for that near-certain eventuality of misplacing the one that comes with the watch, then forgetting how to change something. After all, one only resets for daylight savings time 2ce per year.
I have yet to use it for my original intention of setting off multiple alarms. I still intend to use it this way, rather than let my phone unsubtly reveal that I'm a space-brain several times throughout the day... I may need to set my phone to remind me to do this, though.
For those with arthritic hands or no fingernails or dexterity, the 4 tiny side tabs controlling its functions will undoubtedly drive you crazy. In that case, find a pal & let setting yr watch draw you two closer as a shared fun experience rather than not buying it, 'cuz it IS a worthy little machine.

I've owned this watch for about one week, and so far I'm very pleased with it. The numbers on the face are silver, not black as they appear in the photo on Amazon. The hour & minute hands and also 12 dots on the face are luminous (glow in the dark), which is handy. (But they only glow if you expose them to sufficient light.)
The watch came without a warranty card or official owner's manual (despite the fact that the Seller Profile on Amazon says ALL their watches come with a "full warranty," although they don't claim to be an "authorized" Seiko dealer.) I contacted the seller, and they said they will mail me an official warranty card and warranty booklet.
The seller included a generic sheet of paper entitled "Automatic Watch Instructions" that explains some things about self-winding watches. It says: 1) the watch does not contain a battery and is powered solely by the movement of your arm while you're wearing the watch. If you don't wear the watch for long enough every day, you won't provide enough power to keep the watch running. 2) An automatic watch is less precise than a quartz (battery powered) watch, therefore the time can be off as much as 10 seconds per day. So even if you keep your watch powered up, you'll probably have to adjust the time every now and then.
A few tips:
1) The seller's instruction sheet said in order to wind the watch, gently swing it in a 12-inch arc for 2-3 minutes. But I found that you can also wind this watch manually by turning the stem (while it's pushed in) for 2 or 3 turns. To me, that's much easier than swinging my arm in a 12-inch arc for 2-3 minutes!
2) To set the date & time, the instruction sheet says to pull the stem out. The 1st click out is where you can adjust the date. The 2nd click out (stem fully pulled out) is where you can adjust the time. But there are 2 date components -- day of the week and day of the month -- and the instruction sheet didn't explain how to adjust them both. Here's how: rotate the stem away from you to adjust the day of the week (MON, TUE, WED...); rotate the stem toward you to adjust the day of the month (1, 2, 3...). (By the way, the days of the week are in both English and Spanish on this watch, so you'll have to rotate past the English abbreviation "MON" then the Spanish abbreviation "LUN" for each day of the week you want to skip.)
3) I needed to resize the watch band. Instead of taking the watch to a jeweler, I purchased the 16 PCS Watch Tool Kit on Amazon. Although it came without instructions, it worked for me once I found out how to removed L-shaped pins from a Seiko watch band like this one (as I explained in my review of that product: http://www.amazon.com/review/RREQ47S3JWH01/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B000T9VK56&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=).
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase of this watch.

I wanted a non-gigantic everyday sports watch. After purchasing a few (Citizen's and Wenger) and returning them, finally this Momentum watch solved all my needs: it is incredibly comfortable, durable (I dropped it face first onto the floor, with no ill-consequences), not to mention beautiful. Particularly in the summer, in Florida, it is unbearable to wear rubber or stainless steel bands. This canvas band is perfect, and it has two opposing stainless arcs which make the strap stay in place. Did I mention this watch is beautiful?!!! I have several watches, but regardless if this watch matches what I'm wearing or not, I still choose it everyday because of what a pleasure it is to wear. I highly recommend this watch. If I had the money, I would buy it in every color.

I held off on this review because I was taking the M1 on a vacation as my stand alone watch. Now that I have returned from an adventure with it, I can say I tested it thoroughly. The M1 is solidly constructed with good looks. I wore it to the beach, in the water, while exploring and then paired it with a tux at night. It is a very versatile watch for the money.
In the daytime, the watch is easy to read; not so much in the dark. The minute hand is skeletonized with only the point done in luminescent material. The point is easily lost when it is covering any of the 12 hour markers. I was simply unable to find the minute hand without additional lighting in dark conditions. This is ironic given it is supposed to be a diving watch.
Good buy for a knock-around watch in good lighting or for someone just wanting a solid waterproof watch for pool or beach. I will play with it some more, but the second hand issue makes it difficult to seriously rely on right now.

If you can buy this watch...DO IT! Don't think it over. At the price offered it's a real bargain. The only thing is I thought it would be bigger according to the pictures, but still, in a woman's wrist is big enough. I bought it for my wife's birthday and she just loved it. Very much recommended.

I've had this watch for about 2-1/2 years. Save for special occasions, this has been my "everday" watch for work and play. Now believe me, I am VERY hard on watches in my work at a fire department. It regularly gets wet and takes some pretty hard knocks.
It's a nice size, good looking watch that keeps perfect time. But, most of all, that 18K plating looks as it did when it was new! I've owned watches where just light rubbing for a month or so strips the plating from the underside of the watch band enough that the base metal shows through.
This watch is truly a rugged piece of workmanship! Best money I've ever spent.

I was looking for a water resistant watch but I have a very small wrist and did not want something massive. Most diving watches are very large. The Invicta 4610 proved to be perfect. Its case is only 24 millimeters in diameter( the smallest case in Invicta's collection) The 18K gold-plated band looks rich and is very comfortable with three links removed. I would advise anyone looking to buy a watch on line, to pay attention to the diameter of the case so as to get an idea of how the watch will look on your particular sized wrist. I read some reviews of women who were disappointed when they realized that the watch they ordered was too massive for their wrist. You can't just tell by the pictures. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this watch for a women with a small wrist. It's comfortable and is even better looking than its photo. As to the durability, I can't comment on that as yet since I have just had the watch for a few days.

I came across this watch by accident while looking for the Guess watch I have been wanting for a long time (silver, heavy chains band, large face). I put this watch in my cart and debated but gave in when the tag said last one left. This is a beautiful watch. Much better than photo. Looks expensive. Very retro, different and feminine. I bought this as an anniversary present and was stunned at the high level of quality. The watch face is mother-of-pearl and catches the light so many different ways, and the diamonds catch light in still others. The silver case offsets well with the black band with all of the light bouncing around. I was searching for an oversized women watch and got this one.
I like the size of the watch but face itself could be bigger for my taste (just the face 26 mm, with the crown it is 39mm). The look is clean and sharp.
It doesn't look cheap.
For the price I appreciate scratch resistant sapphire.
This is lightweight watch, and thanks to mother of pearl (pink and blue reflections in the sun) it looks feminine.
For me the watch would be perfect if:
- the case could be thicker, I believe it's only 8mm and I'd prefer 10-12; as an oversized women watch it feels flat,
- I'd prefer white dial instead of mother of pearl (or an option) so it looks more unisex,
- the leather bracelet is short! I have a 6" wrist and only 3 holes left for bigger wrists, it feels too short and the clasp is not at the center of the wrist.
Anyway nice looking watch, but I was looking for more substancial one and went with Michael Kors MK5076 and I'm loving it every minute. This is what I wanted. I might change the bracelet for black just to have similar to Seiko look sometimes, see if that works.
Btw, the seller global777watches shipped item very next day (upgraded to expedited Priority Mail) and it was great with the refund (quick answer on the weekend and the refund processed the day they received the watch back).

I bought this watch as a gift for my wife after reading excellent reviews about it. This watch looks nice but it doesn't feel like a $200 worth! the stainless steel shine looks cheap and is different from the item picture provided here. the band leather is also not that good. in addition, I received mine with a visible indentation/scratch on the outter diameter of stainless case and will definitely return it.
