bracelet too small for average wrist, small face

I bought this after Amazon lowered the price to something too good to pass up. I tried to apply for the Amazon credit card to pay for this over 12 months no interest, but they could never verify my identity (??). I was a little disappointed when receiving this watch as the pearl face looks plain white unless in the right light. The face is a bit small too, but the one thing was this watch barely fit my average size wrist. I have never had a problem fitting watch bands before so this was a surprise. Instead of including 2 extra links, Tag makes you order them. If you were to get this from a "official" Tag retailer, Tag Heuer would send you 2 free links, but alas, if you want a bigger bracelet with ordering from Amazon, you have to go to the local jeweler that sells Tags and then you have to pay for each one (twenty dollars a piece). For the price Amazon has this watch for, I guess a couple of extra bucks is nothing but it is a hassel. The watch is absolutely genuine and gorgeous otherwise.

Happy with this watch

I have owned this watch for 5 years, but received it as a gift and it was not purchased at Amazon. It is a terrific watch because it is so sturdy. I never take it off except to shower and when dressing up. It has two limitation: 1. The face is bulky, about 8mm thick, and I didn't feel comfortable wearing it for very dressy occasions, so I bought a dress watch, with only a 5mm thick face. If you want to have only one expensive watch, this may not be the right one. 2. The watch is extremely waterproof, which is a plus, but it needs to have its battery changed by the manufacturer to assure the waterproof seal. This cost me about $120 the one time I had the battery changed (about $80 for Tag's charges and the local jeweler added about $40 for shipping and handling). Plus, you will not have the watch for several weeks while it is shipped back and forth. That high charge was a surprise to me; so I am writing this review to forewarn you.

Purely authentic

You can't beat the price of this TAG watch. Most jewelers had this watch priced at $[...]. But for under $[...] is a steal ! It comes in a beautiful box. Unlike what Costco tried to give me with no papers in it. Well worth the investment.

Gorgeous watch!

I bought this watch because I saw at the jewelry store and it looked great. I received it, and I haven't taken it off ever since. The only complaint is that I have to keep adjusting the date because it works on a 31 day calendar, and it is a little tricky. Besides that, it is a great looking watch. The diamonds are of high quality, and you can see a clear difference between this watch and other brands in terms of diamond clarity and color.

Beautiful... with one challenge

My wife was very excited when I gave her this watch for her birthday - it is beautiful, brilliant, and perfect balance of size/weight. Its a timeless choice, not one of the gaudy trend watches, so its always in style.

The photo for this watch is a bit misleading in one way - you may think the band is matte finish from the photo, but this is not the case: its totally shiny, polished stainless steel. One thing you may notice is that this watch (WAF1416.BA0824) appears the same as WAF1416.BA0813, but $800 cheaper. They are slightly different dimensions (1mm), but from everything I can tell they are the same... both are caret weight around 0.5 and steel so really not sure what you're paying the extra money for on the older model.

The only kink in this being a perfect gift happened when we went to get it resized... went to 3 jewelers (including Tourneau, an authorized TAG service store) and none could get the pins out to resize it. One even implied it was defective or a fake. Finally found a fourth jeweler that also services TAG and they did it with no problem. From looking around on the internet, apparently TAG aquaracers are really hard to resize if you dont know the tricks. So 4 stars, because we almost returned it because of this.

Completely in love with this watch!

So, my watch came yesterday and now I'm completely attached to it. I was so excited when it was delivered. I opened up the delivery box and inside was a beautiful bright yellow box, so soft and buttery feeling. I opened up the beautiful yellow box and inside was one of the most lovely watches I have ever seen. The picture didn't do it justice. The rose gold looks pale in Amazon's picture. It's more of a light bronze/light copper color. Gorgeous. An aromatic fragrance drifted out of the box when I took the watch out. I don't know if it's because the brightness of the box brought to mind a lemon, but it seems to smell like a clean, sweet, light lemony smell. I've never had a mechanical watch before, so I'm still working out how far I need to wind the watch. It says to wind until you feel resistance, but evidently my idea of resistance and theirs is slightly different. The watch itself is heavier than I thought it would be, so that has taken a little while to get used to. Also the small gold chain sometimes gets caught underneath the watch and irritates the skin, but not often. The winder (or whatever it is called) is on the left side of the watch, so if you're a right-handed person who wears their watch on the left hand, it could be a little awkward trying to set the time and wind the watch. All in all, I am above and beyond satisfied with this purchase. Although, it really helped that I caught it on sale during Amazon's 70% off select watches sale. The hardest decision I had to make was which color to choose. By the way, the watch still smells good. Do yourself a favor...buy this watch. The skeleton dial is a unique look and very intriguing to watch (no pun intended). I'll be lucky to get any work done, now!

Great Watch!

This watch looks even better in reality! For that previous comment about the watch stopping, this watch needs to be winded up if you don't wear it enough or you are too inactive; all mechanical watches behave that way. I personally wind it up a bit every time I put it on in the morning, as I sit at a desk and don't move much. In doing so, I never lose the time. Giving the watch one star based on your sedentary lifestyle (and not bother winding it!) is unfair and doesn't testify of the watch's overall quality.

I'm also left-handed and wear it on my left wrist. The screw isn't in the same place as most watches, but to me this is better otherwise the large screw cap would always be digging in my hand. So consider this if you plan on wearing it on the right wrist; it may not be as comfortable as on the left wrist (and it's heavy too). The white rubber band does get dirty rather fast, but you can scrub it with soap (haven't done it yet though).

I always get comments on how beautiful it is, I never had people notice my watches before, so this is a good sign...

As a side note, I hear that rubber bands get worn out or dry after a couple of years (from what I read) and need replacement. I'm thinking about getting an extra replacement band from Invicta before the model gets discontinued or something of the sort. On their website they say that's 30$, shipping not included. If you plan on keeping your watch for a long time, getting an extra band might be worth looking into down the road.

Beautiful and quality watch

I bought this watch for my wife a few months ago. This watch is gorgeous, she constantly has people complementing the watch. The Guess Collection design is modern and classy at the same time - this style will not get old for a long time. I am kind of a watch aficionado and spent at least 6 months searching for the right watch for my wife. If you or your wife are looking for a ceramic white watch, the quality and appearance of this watch surpass most of the ceramic watches in the market, no doubt. Furthermore, the watch meets the 3 most important quality requirements: swiss movement, good crystal and screw-down crown. Packaging and presentation are impressive. Can't go wrong with this as a present.

I wanted a white watch and I like Guess Collection. Saw this watch and immediatly loved it. However if I have seen the one with the stainless steel base first, I would have bought that one. As I do prefer "silver" and this watch is Rose gold. The combination however is nice, and I do recommend the watch. I still believe it is too expensive though.
check out the silver one with White ceramic bracelet before you decide.

Garbage

I owned a Vector for at least 10 years and am having to go back to it as Suunto has had my X 10 more than I have over the last 8 months. I have sent it in twice the last time in Nov for the case coming apart. First time button cover came off. Cannot believe I paid $400 for this. Makes me question Suunto.

Not accurate

I Needed a precision GPs, easy to use and thought this would be the one.
then I tested it again my Garmin Zümo 550 and the Forerunner 305 and the Suunto was the least precise one. If you need it for keep tracking of your path and precision is not necessary, it is a nice gadget. I am sure new models should improve accuracy.

Suunto no longer supports the X10. I'm not sure anything else need be said. After a litany of issues with this product, Suunto apparently reached the same conclusion that many users have: remove the band and use for paper weight.

Great piece, but...

Good-looking timepiece, however because the band is white and plastic it picks up dirt easily which make it a little scrappy. My band after just two weeks is stained from the surfaces that I rest my hand on. Tried cleaning it but cannot seem to get it back white. I think I will need to change the band sooner than later.

I received the watch as scheduled - the very next day. I decided to buy this watch for my wife as an anniversary gift. The watch is really beautiful. Looks authentic to me. My only concern about buying this item from amazon is that they did not include the authenticity card to show proof that it is not a fake.

love my watch!

I treated myself to this watch as a replacement/addition to my 20-year old Tag Heuer dive watch. In addition to diving plus everyday wear, I'd been doing carpentry, masonry, landscaping, as well as other hard use in the older one, and it was looking tired. It's still running great, so is now my "work" watch. This one is absolutely beautiful and the box it came in was quite special too, made it even more of a treat just opening it!! If someone offered me a gold Rolex or this watch, I'd gladly take this one over the Rolex!

A gift for my daughter

She loved it. What more can I say. Appears to be typical Casio quality. I had to convince my wife that this was not a white men's G-Shock but actually a smaller version made for women. (as one familiar with G-Shocks might assume without a side by side reference) Always been a fan of the men's G-Shock myself.

A wonderful watch

I own several Orient automatic watches and having been extremely impressed by their quality and appearance, I did not have to think twice before buying this watch as a gift for a special lady. She now refuses to wear any of her other watches (which are high quality quartz models from some upmarket brands). The open heart with the visible balance wheel, escape wheel and pallets are mesmerising to look at. I even had to hear that the watch is like the One Ring (from Lord of the Rings), robbing her of the will-power to remove it from her arm. I really have nothing bad to say about this watch.
