Attractive, practical & lightweight

Just received this watch which arrived promptly (purchased from an Amazon Marketplace seller). Love the styling & lightweight feel and it's easy to read the time & other info on the watch face. This is one of the few Baby G watches with the clasp form of watch band, which I prefer for comfort, durability & style; most have the resin bands with buckles, which always seem to crack or break well before the watch is dead.

Haven't explored its set-up menus extensively but quickly found that setting the analog hands to local time & date just required selecting the right World Time zone - the watch did the rest! For right now, I'll give this item five stars but will report back on durability, accuracy, etc. as needed.

6 February 2013 Update: Have worn the watch on a daily basis which included two trips that required setting & resetting the time. Apart from the fact that I had to always check the manual because I could never remember how to change things, the watch performed flawlessly. The band & face still look good as well, and I've received several compliments on it. Wish that Casio's Baby G line had more watches with a clasp form of watch band.

I bought this for my wife on her birthday, and it was a blast...! She loves it a lot... It looks great and expensive, even though it's not that high on the price. Easy to set up and durable...just a great watch overall, if you don't mind paying a little less than Bulova, Tag Heuer, and Rolex....especially that last one...

Odd color pink & 5 ATM NOT 10

I have several JBW victory watches so thought I'd try this sporty version for the pool and snorkeling. The band is an odd shade of pink and really doesn't go with anything and the description is inaccurate, this watch is NOT rated for snorkeling, it is stamped 5 ATM water resistant on the back, NOT 100 meters as the text describes so snorkeling might ruin it. Also the band is very long. Even on the smallest hole it is too big. If you have small wrists this watch won't work for you.

Good watch, recommended

I'm not a diver but I would definitely recommend this watch. I wanted a daily wear-to-the-office with a two-tone metal band and this fits the bill. It doesn't look cheap or flimsy, there is some weight to both the watch face and the band. Overall it doesn't attract too much attention or random compliments like another Invicta watch I have, but that's mostly because it lacks the cz bling factor and is pretty normal-sized and unobtrusive. The larger invictas just look ridiculous on my tiny wrist, but this one is the perfect size. I had to remove 4 links from the band. Time/date are easy to set, I didn't even read the manual.

Happy with watch

I wanted to say I was very happy with the looks of this watch when it arrived. I have received many compliments on it. The band is plenty large and adjustable and the mother-of-pearl is pretty. I don't like the magnification over the date as I personally don't think it helps. I did purchase this watch to use as a dive watch and was worried it might take on water due to the other review but I took a chance and wore this watch and it survived fine in 50' of water. Hopefully it will last for many years to come.

Love Invicta Watches, this is the best style/color combo!

First of all, a little clarification is needed. I bought this watch on a flash sale for $40, so I'm not hugely disappointed, but this watch is water resistant to 100M - NOT the same as my former Invicta lady diver watch was a Diver's 200M (printed on watch face). This one is 100M, which makes it UNSUITABLE FOR SCUBA DIVING. Read the water resistant clarifications on the page for more info. I'm not sure if this watch is supposed to have the signature screw-down crown, but it doesn't. If this watch ends up being a lemon, I'll update. If it's a characteristic of the less water resistant 100M, I kinda like it because it's easier to set.
As always, I love the shape, size, color, and style. Perfect blend of fashion and function. Similar to the menswear style watches that are out there, but great for tiny wrists like mine. I am prepared for the gold plating to wear off the band that rests downwards, as it happened with my other Invicta watch. Not a huge issue for me, but I figured I would mention it. I don't like the addition of the magnifier over the date - my older model (which I unfortunately lost) did not have that, and I think it's unnecessary and annoying at times. But, for a women's watch with a rotating bezel, I'm willing to let go of that gripe. So, all in all, I love Invicta watches and this one is just great.

Hour hand of watch

My wife has had this watch just less then a year. Buttons on side of watch is very easy to hit with wrist and it will stop the watch.
The hour arm is out of sync with the numbers hard to read time on where the arm is located at the top of any hour. The arm will sit in between the numbers on all time minute hand sitting at the top of the hour. Unable to adjust the arm to get it to match the time needed.
If you try to adjust watch it will turn as normal as exspected but unable to tell what time it acturly is. it could be 3 or 4 o'clock with the minute hand straight up on 12 sharp.

Stuhrling Original Women's Swiss Quartz

I now have two of these type watches as I love the look, the design & most of all the performance of these watches! I've had many people comment on these watches! All is great there! Would you believe that I have dropped one similar to this design just a few weeks ago & all that went wrong was that my second hand fell from it's position & was floating loosely inside the chamber. No cracks & no other dysfunctions as I expected it to be toast when it landed on my hard wood floor. I did vet it repaired as the second hand had to be put back in place & now it works just like new!

Luxury Watch Thats Affordable

I suddenly have this urge to start watch collecting and I stumbled on this Swiss brand called Stuhrling. I found out that this watch is not made in Switzerland, but thats okay. The product is very affordable, stylish and its made of Mother Of Pearl Swarovski Crystal. For less than $200 each, I was able to collect 4 different colors of the chronograph watches. Who can beat that! It comes in a nice box with few extra leather watch straps included. Very convenient and it looks good wear.

I've purchased several Stuhrling watches for family members and own one myself. So far with all the watches, I've been impressed. The Nautical Regatta with Mother of Pearl facing is no different! Its sporty but also elegant and the Mother of Pearl face gives it a nice "pop" that makes it look expensive - not cheesy! My daughter-in-law REALLY likes it and she's a bit of a watch snob. Its a great size, weight and very attractive!

Ladies Invicta/Activa Swiss Watch review

Great Sports Watch!

I really like this watch. I work outdoors a lot so the waterproof and shock resistant features are important for me. It has great illumination which makes it very easy to see at night. The picture magnifies the 3 subdials and they are not as easy to see as the picture makes it appear.

It has a big dial size however it doesn't look too big for my petite wrist. I also really like the band with the fold over clasp which is hard to find on a sports watch. I had to have a few links removed before I could wear it.

It looks sharp and I've gotten numerous compliments. It's a great sports watch and I definitely would recommend it.

I hafta admit that I've always had a secret desire to be a "Gangstah" and when I flashed this watch the fellas on the corner started calling me "Baby G".

I think they appreciate the fact that ever since I ditched my solid gold Rolly
I have been punctual for all my appointments.

This watch keeps perfect time & when a client's 20 minutes is up I'm outta there!
Of course there are many more features I like. The dial that lights up in the dark is my favorite.

For this price you just can't go wrong with the Baby G...named after Gina Wiggles, I presume.
