Weighty, well-made, great watch

I don't really know anything about watches. I just wanted one that tells time and shows the date. I really like Fossil boyfriend watches but wanted something a little less trendy. Did a little bit of research and decided to try collecting Sturhlings. So far, so good. My new watch is great quality and looks great. I've only owned Seikos but wanted the more modern look. This watch isn't the bigger, boyfriend-type watch like I thought so that was the only thing I was sad to see when I got it. Band is really comfy, I've only worn it a few times now so that's all I've got. It's as impressive as the pic on here so if, like me, you fall in love with it online, you're probably going to be happy when you get it. Enjoy!

Strap is ruined, has 3 months of use

The clock works perfectly, but the strap is stained and worn out. The inside of the strap (brown) stained the strap withe cover.
The thing that holds the strap when the strap is tied got broken... And it only has 3 months of use.

Just got this watch in the mail today. Came packaged securely and in a very nice box. My overall description of this watch is that it's understated and classic, much in the way *true* high-end products are. If you know what makes a great watch you'll recognize those features in this watch. Other watches have more bling but aren't as accurate at telling time. I chose this one because I thought the white croco-leather would be great for summer and the mother of pearl was neutral enough that I could change the band to a different color later in the year. It is stunning in person but not too fancy that I can't wear it every day. No problems setting the time and date. The only thing I've seen so far that is possibly a negative is that what is typically the second hand is actually the stopwatch hand, and one of the subdials is a seconds-dial. It will take some getting used to when I look down and notice the second hand not moving, but nothing that would change my decision to purchase this watch. As far as size goes, I have a pretty tiny wrist and it is the perfect size for me. It is a little on the thicker side, especially if you're used to wearing bracelet watches, but it doesn't bother me at all. Love it and can't wait to wear it this summer!
