Beautiful but not functional

The watch is stunning, I love its looks--I wish I could say the same about how it functions. This is the second watch that I've had of this type, after having to exchange the first due to its inability to keep time. The second hand on the first watch would just randomly freeze and then would eventually restart after I'd unscrew the crown to reset the time and then screw it back in. Now, with the second watch, I find that the crown somehow comes loose on its own and the time will be far behind (but if I screw it in too tight the second hand freezes, a catch 22). When I pull the crown out to reset the time and then push the crown back in, the second hand often seems to get stuck before restarting. I have brought it to the watch repairman countless times to have him take a look it at, and will now probably have to send it back to the manufacturer to have them take a look which will take about 8 weeks--what's the good in owning a beautiful watch if it doesn't work and you have to go 2 months without wearing it? Very frustrated by this purchase

Let the buyer beware!

This is a very large watch and if you're a petite woman, keep that in mind. If you decide to return it, this vendor charges a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund. This amount plus paying shipping both ways is a considerable loss. Make sure you want this watch before you order it.
I'll also add that I didn't read the fine print first and was floored when I realized I would lose the 15%. I wrote a remark on the review page and the vendor contacted me and literally threatened me by saying that if I didn't remove the remark immediately, he would refuse to refund my money at all. Is this the kind of person you want to buy from?
I am shocked that Amazon would continue to include people like this on their list of vendors. Buy this watch if you want it but just know that you are dealing with a bully!

Very well made watch.

Got this as a gift for the wife. Despite this being a ladies watch its got some heft to it. Very solid construction. Accurate time keeping. Well worth the price.
